The weather outside is frightful

We had our first snow a week ago and Grant had so much fun playing in the snow with daddy. This year winter has been pretty cold here in Lexington. As much as I despise this icky, sticky, wet, cold, stuff, I gotta admit it sure is cute to see Grant play in it and daddy's the one outside and not me.

3 months

I put her on the couch the other day, and she turned over on her own. But that has happened only once so far.
I love looking at her when she is asleep. She is so cute.
I tried to do a ponytail with her hair but it still too short. Looks funny!!

Shreya's blessing day

Grandpa Peterson flew out here from Idaho just to be with her on her special day.

Baby Shreya

I had a baby girl on the 28th of August! Her name is Shreya Danielle Peterson and is almost 2 months old now. I am totally blessed with an easy baby who hardly ever cries and is already sleeping through the night. She is the cutest little thing ever. It is so fun to have a boy and girl. Here are some recent pictures of her specially for family to enjoy.

Happy Birthday Grant!

Grant celebrated his 3rd birthday on the 11th of this month with a few of his friends. First they all went to monkey joe's which is a place with a lot of inflatable slides and other fun stuff for kids and then after that they all came home for some pizza and cake. He got tons of gifts from us and his friends. This was actually his first birthday party so he loved it especially the getting gifts and blowing candles out parts.

Summer Vacation

These pictures are long overdue. But on the first week of July we made a fun trip to Indianapolis for a couple of days which was our first official vacation since we moved for dental school. We went to the zoo,comedy club, the car museum etc and did some shopping too. Grant loved the car museum. Here are some fun pictures we took on our trip.

         

 

Pool Party

This last weekend we had some of our good friends Bart, Emily and their nieces and nephew over so the kids can play at the pool at our apartment. It was so fun. The kids especially had a blast. Grant just loved the water the moment he got into it. That was pretty surprising for a boy that hates baths. He had so much fun and when it was time to go he didn't want to go. Thanks Emily and Bart for the fun day. We'll have to do it again sometime soon.

Our little angel

This little guy is such a big poser. He sure knows how to pose for the camera. He is so much fun and can be a little monster at times. Some of the things he likes doing are reading with mommy, Playing baseball with daddy,Saying his prayers before going to bed, Singing songs, making pizza and the list goes on.It's so fun to see him grow and loving to do the things that he loves to do. I'm so excited for him to be a big a brother.

Miss his hair

A few weeks ago we cut Grant's hair and I really miss his long hair. Short hair is cute but it makes him look a lot older. I am just realizing that my baby is growing up really fast. Well I can't put a stop to it but atleast I think next time I am going to keep his hair longer than it is now.

Family day out

We went to the New Port aquarium in Cincinnati this last week since Steven had a day off. It was about and hour drive up there. Grant loved looking at diiferent kinds of fish. It was a fun family outing.

              

Potty Trained!! yay!!

I am so happy to anounce that my 2 1/2 year old is all potty trained. I am so proud of him. He asks to go potty when he wants to go and even wears underwear all day long, even when he goes out. Yay!!!! I never thought it will be this easy with him.

Due Date

So I had my first ultra sound today and found out that I was due on the 2nd of September. I'm so excited!!!!! Here is a scanned picture of him/her.

A visit with Clifford

So today while I was at work Grant and Steven headed to the bookstore because Grant's favorite dog clifford was coming. Luckily Steven took the camera with him because usually we are both so bad at remembering to take our camera with us where ever we go. But from the pictures I can tell that Grant had a blast.
