Grant Happenings

So this is what Grant has been up to these days. I just love taking pictures of him and putting them up on my blog.
Like his dad, he has a passion for video games. Well right now he doesn't actually know how to play it, but being able to push random buttons on the Nintendo DS keeps him happy.


The next picture shows his new favorite hide out place. So recently we got a car seat for him and this is what he uses the empty box for.

Fun at the park

We went to the park today for family home evening and had a little picnic.It was alot warmer and nice today.For Grant living in a small apartment like ours really made him appreciate all the space in the park. All he did was run around in amazement like he was in Disneyland or something.Cute boy! Anyways here are some pictures

Conference is over :(

Well another year of genereal conference for the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints is over. I just got back from translating it, I just love this time of the year when you learn so much from better examples like our leaders. At the conclusion of every conference the only quote and feeling that comes to my mind is what president Gordan.B.Hinckley said "“Let us all try to stand a little taller, rise a little higher, be a little better. Make the extra effort. You will be happier.”
What I am going to really miss about moving out of Utah is going to conference twice a year and having the opportunity to hear from our leaders and also translate.
Another quick story-- So today for the translation devotional, Pres. Richard.G.Scott was our special speaker. We were all so excited to see him and finally he arrived and as soon as he arrived he shakes hands with random people in the big group that was there to see him and I am proud to say that I was one of them. It was so awesome to see an apostle of the Lord up close. He is an awesome man and from looking at him I knew that he is a man that was called of God to be our leader. All in all I had a great weekend.
