Expert spoon user!

Grant has learned to feed himself. The other day I was feeding him Yogurt and he kept grabbing the spoon from me and so I gave it to him. He Took a spoon full of yogurt on his own and stuck it right into his mouth. It was fun to watch him eat on his own. He even tried to feed me . Its is so exciting to watch him grow and learn new things. I sometimes worry when I think that he is still not walking, but it looks like he is pretty advanced when it comes to other things like saying little words and using a spoon to eat etc. Oh well, you can't always be best at everything all at once.

Grant after his shots! He got his shots a day after his birthday and was really tired when we got home. Poor baby! I put him on his high chair and was on the phone with my sister. When I got back he was asleep like this.














Ok the other day we went and got some diapers for Grant and the baby model on the diaper bag looked so much like Grant. I thought it was funny and cute so I took a picture of them both together.














Grant loves to eat his food on his own. He is really learning to be independent.

Grant turns ONE!!!!!

Yesterday was Grant's first birthday. wow! I can't believe he is a year old already. We didn't do a lot but it was a fun day. We did go to Ruby tuesdays for dinner with my youngest sister Radhika . Grant liked eating the mashed potatoes from my plate. So that was kind of his birthday dinner.It was pretty suprising to see him actually open his mouth for food for the first time since he usually hates to eat anything. Anyways, after dinner we drove back to Provo and bought some cup cakes and celebrated his birthday. We are so blessed to have Granty in our lives. He makes us so happy everyday. His smiles and giggles and everything he does just makes me so grateful for the gift of motherhood. Happy birthday my baby boy!

Funny Grant!

Ok, Grant just loves to pull table cloths down. The table cloth I put on our little ugly table in the living room never stays on. Last weekend the same thing happened at Grandma's house in Idaho. We were cooking dinner on Saturday and having a nice chat and suddenly we heard something go BAM! We turned around panicking to see a crying Grant and a broken porcelaine bunny that belonged to grandma. As usual Grant had been crawling under the dining table and had pulled the table cloth off When I didn't notice. But this time he broke Grandma's bunny figurine. Sorry Grandma!! Anyways I picked him up immediatly and mom was nice enough to clean the mess Grant had made.

2nd Anniversary!

Yesterday, September 1st, was our 2nd year wedding Anniversary. I can't believe it has been that long already and we have a baby who is almost a year old. Yesterday for our Anniversary we went out and had a nice Korean dinner and then went and watched a movie at the Gateway mall. Steven got me Roses. It was so awesome, when we were dating we used to always go to the gateway. Going there without Grant yesterday brought so many memories back. It was so much fun! I remembered why I love Steven so much. He is a wonderful man with a loving heart. I am so grateful to have Steven in my life and I'm also grateful for my little cutie Grant.
